She's got me running around
in circles all day, searching for
that Compass of Love,
Cause I really don't know
what direction to take
to win the girl that I
am dreaming of.
Most all of my efforts
have gone south it seems
Leaving me sitting
just east of disdain,
While a cold Northern wind
is whispering in my soul.....
saying "Go west young man
she'll just cause you pain....
she'll just cause you pain....
But she's so beautiful
and worthy of my tries,
There's still a glint of
possibilites in her eyes
If she's not leading me on
to the edge of a cliff,
if she's still pondering me...eeee
and all of love's What ifs????
