The Last Plague is the proverbial straw that broke the back of Pharaoh and the Egyptians. It was sudden, horrible and severe and a picture of the judgement that awaits all those who reject God’s call to repent and obey Him. It was this plague that finally provoked the Egyptians to send the Hebrew slaves away and God took them well-stocked with all they would need to lead a new life that glorified Him. Reading this plague should cause everyone who is not yet a Christian to tremble. It should also cause everyone who is a Christian to rejoice. It is never a bad idea to go with God!
