Fasting draws us closer to God and helps us to become more like Christ

God encourages us to Fast so that we can also hear Him more clearly. Denying ourselves of something in order to become closer to Him and who he is calling us to be! 

  1. Hear him more clearly
  2. Grow in intimacy
  3. Grow in Trust

    4. So in this episode, we asked ourselves 4 questions:

    1. When should I fast ?- Whenever God is leading you. If you are seeking clarity on an issue. If you are believing God for something and he is instructed you to hear from him. 
    2. Why Do we fast? - A fast is designed to help us to hear from God, not to change God’s mind 
    3. What should you Fast ?- whatever God is directing only liquids, Food, it can be other things. I gave up Social Media several times. It forced me more into communion with God - Football and Miss Grand Bahama
    4. How does Fasting change your life?

      God gave them confidence through their close connection with God. When they were faced trials and fires they were able to get their strength from God.
