Let me tell you what's wrong with you, "you are never satisfied with anything!"

You see - - you have "this" - the next minute you realize your friend or colleague has "that", which may be far better than your "this."

So then what do you do?

You start craving for your friend's "that".

In your mind you go like: "I have to get "that" too, I deserve it."

But this is where the underlying problem is; your state of finances, in other words, the contents of your purse, cannot afford your insatiable cravings.

You know why? - This is why: "Even if you manage to get what you were hungry for at a point in time; that which you were having sleepless over - you sooner or later see something far far better and catchier than what you've managed to acquire now.

The cycle then continues.

So you may look alright on the outside, but inwardly you are always sick; sick with jealousy, being eaten up by greed, your soul tainted jet black with envy.

And the reason is simple, your financial status cannot keep up with your escalating carnal desires and materialistic nature.

So then, if the desire grows so strong that you can't acquire what you wish and crave so much for, it floods your thoughts with anxiety and worry.

These, in turn, give birth to sleepless nights, regrets and ultimately depression.

Until you understand that you can't have "everything", and learn to be okay with the "something" you have, no matter how big or small, your entire life will revolve around this cycle of pain, misery, and regret.

You can never be truly happy if you don't develop an attitude of contentment.

So what at all I'm I rumbling about?

I'm just telling you this: "Be content with what you have!!!!"

What happens if we don't fight?

What happens when we don't persist?

When life gets hard, do we persist? ............ or do we quit?

Facing your fears

The problem is not being afraid, the problem is staying afraid. 

Fear is supposed to be an alarm system, it gives you an alert to find a way to avoid or defend yourself from impending danger. 

But wait... Have you realized how annoying an alarm system that goes off unnecessarily can be? 

You probably have a neighbour or maybe a colleague who's car's alarm system goes off with the least provocation. 

Admit it, it's a nuisance, right? 

You don't have to be afraid if there's no reason to. 

It's one thing to be alarmed when you are walking in a jungle and hear a wild animal growl behind you. 

But it's a completely different thing to be in the comfort of your own home, and be dreaded by the fear the unknown. 

The mind is definitely an amazing simulation system, it can create situations that do not even exist and make them seem so real. 

When the Bible tells you to renew your mind, that is an act you have to start doing deliberately! 

If you have fears that plague you, you can't just wish them away. 

Even after you've prayed, you still need to make a decision to make sure, that like an alarm system, you don't go off unnecessarily and be thrown into panic or confusion with the least threatening situation you face. 

So, what if you were a lion, would you be afraid of just any wild beast you hear growling behind you in the jungle?

Growth is not a mere option, it's an absolute necessity. Life has one ultimate goal, and that GOAL is to GROW! 

A seed ought to become a tree. A child must one day become an adult. An idea ought to evolve and escape someday out of the corridors of your mind and become an invention that benefits the entire globe.  Together, let's embark on a lifelong journey to not only discover purpose but also to know how to tailor our goals and ultimately attain growth. We can win together. We will set goals together. We will grow together.
