Confidence is high at Priestfield following Gillingham’s 3-1 win over Salford City last weekend as Stephen Clemence’s first home league game in charge delivered three points, and some much-needed positivity.

Now the Gills are back on the road, and they head to The Wirral to take on a Tranmere Rovers side that are struggling at the wrong end of the table, and have lost four of their last six.
