The goat meat craze sweeping the UK - may be hitting our shores.
There's more demand for the meat as restaurants stock it and celebrity chefs endorse it.
President of the Boer Goat Breeders Association Brian Loughhead told Mike Hosking it's the same price as lamb, tastes nicer and is more ethical.
He says goat meat in New Zealand is slowly gaining popularity.
"We are in a situation a bit like a chicken and an egg. There are plenty of goat farmers around, the biggest issue is getting it on the market and in such a way that doesn't extinguish what stock we do have."
