The result of my text to voice experiment was, apart from a few recognisable words & phrases, total gibberish, made worse by the apparently inevitable North American intonation, which is hardly appropriate in this case. I used a random article from an old local newspaper & the first online software I came across. I added a touch of echo to the voice track & combined it with a sequence of electronic sounds.
