In this episode we’re starting a new series, focusing on the war between God and the rebellious spiritual powers—these are ‘the gods’ of the Hebrew Bible, and the ‘principalities and powers’ of the New Testament.
In future episodes we’ll explore these entities, and our critical role in defeating them, in much greater detail.

From the very first pages of Genesis, the Bible reveals that humanity has never lived in neutral territory. We are participants—not bystanders—in a cosmic war between God and rebellious spiritual powers.
In this opening episode of our new series, we return to the first battlefield: the Garden of Eden.
* Who—or what—was the nahash that whispered to Eve?
* How did deception and slander against God open the door to sin and death?
* Why does Genesis 3:15 matter for the entire biblical story?
* How did the war escalate in Genesis 6 with the Nephilim and attempts to corrupt the seed of the woman?
* What did God do in response—through the Flood, Babel, and the division of nations under the divine council?
Along the way, we explore passages many Christians rarely hear taught: Genesis 3, 6, and 11; Deuteronomy 32; Psalm 82; Job 1–2; and Daniel 10. These texts reveal the unseen conflict behind world history—and what it means for us today.
