Due to a technical problem, today's sermon was recorded after the service. In Genesis 2: 15 “Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.” Cultivating can be hard work. There are many scriptures that speak to our work. Some are very strong. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 says if you do not work you do not eat. Psalm 128 encourages work saying when you eat of the fruit of your hands (your labor) you will be happy and it will be well with you. In Colossians it tells us don’t do you job begrudgingly, with a smile on the outside and a frown on the inside. The scripture says don’t do the work just to please men, but do it as if you WERE TRYING TO PLEASE GOD. Preform your duty with a sincere heart. Do it because you want to do it.
