So, how do we who are cleansed and forgiven by the blood of Jesus accept his invitation to tell the world about his saving grace, to be his messenger, his discipe?
... First, we believe in Jesus by asking him to take over our hearts and minds as we follow him in faith, believing his Word.
... Second, we live in relationship, a sustained and commitment of the disciple to the the master and his teaching.
... Third, our conduct in this relationship changes us, impacts our personal lives and is a witness to those who see how we live. Not what we say but how we live.
God does not live in our story - we live in His. When God asked Isaiah if he would be his messenger to Israel Isaish responded with enthusiasm : "Send me"!
Peter was told to fish for men and to not be afraid. It is our prayer that we wil answer God's call with enthusiasm as we fish for men unafraid knowing the Holy Spirit is equipping us at every encounter!
