Malayalam:

“ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമം എന്നും എന്നേക്കും സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ;

ജ്ഞാനവും ബലവും അവന്നുള്ളതല്ലോ.

അവൻ കാലങ്ങളെയും സമയങ്ങളെയും മാറ്റുന്നു;

അവൻ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ നീക്കുകയും രാജാക്കന്മാരെ വാഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു;

അവൻ ജ്ഞാനികൾക്കു ജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകികൾക്കു ബുദ്ധിയും കൊടുക്കുന്നു.”

English (AMP):

“Daniel answered, “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,

For wisdom and power belong to Him.

It is He who changes the times and the seasons;

He removes kings and establishes kings.

He gives wisdom to the wise and [greater] knowledge to those who have understanding!”
