God is rich in mercy – His covenant loyalty and covenant love – to satisfy His Great Love for you. Even when you were dead in your sins, in His Mercy, He united you together into the very life of Christ Himself and saved you by His Marvelous Grace. (Ephesians 2:4-5)

In His love, God chose you out for Himself in Christ, Who was slain in sacrifice for you from the foundation of the world, that you should be holy and blameless in God’s Sight, (Ephesians 1:4, Revelation 13:8) Jesus’ God-given destiny was to be the sacrifice to take away sins. Now he is your mercy seat because of His death on the cross. You come to Him for mercy because God made a provision for you to be forgiven by faith in the sacred blood of Jesus. (Romans 3:25)

God saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but only because of His extravagant mercy, by the cleansing bath of the new birth made you completely new by the Holy Spirit, Who He poured out so richly upon you through Jesus Christ your Savior. (Titus‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭)

God proved His Covenant Love with Christ for you by sending Him to die in your place while you were still a sinner. (Romans 5:8) Now, you echo God's mercy and intense love to one another, just as He is rich in mercy and His Great Love toward you.
