1 Peter 1:14-16 (NKJV) "as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, 'Be holy, for I am holy.'"

Firmly choose obedience by following God's direct commands, decisively leave your old ways behind, and copy His holy example, even if you find your family and friends pressuring you to not leave your old traditions and friendships.
