In this chapter of Acts, we see how God made a promise to Paul, and He fulfilled it. At times, we hear promises from God, but we can feel discouraged when we don't see any evidence of them coming to fruition; it may seem like nothing is changing. We often strive harder for those promises, because we need something tangible to move toward.

Since we know that God sees the beginning from the end, we should continue to trust in His timing. If we rush ahead, we may encounter unnecessary turmoil. Instead, we should take a moment to pause, focus on our daily responsibilities, and wait for God to fulfill His promise.

Today, I encourage you to maintain hope and faith, and to wait patiently for His promises. God is faithful and capable of bringing forth His plans, whether it's flourishing a work project, nurturing a relationship, or even bringing a long-awaited baby into your life. Take courage and trust in His timing and willingness to deliver what He has promised.
