The cross dealt with the sin problem once and all. The cross demonstrates the goodness and severity of God. Goodness towards man and severity against sin. Jesus bore the punishment of our sins. God no longer keeps record of your sins. He offers free and complete forgiveness to all who put faith in the Lamb of God slain before the foundation of the earth.
