In this chapter, we see that Paul, Barnabas, and the apostle John fulfilled Jesus's command to spread his message to the ends of the earth, which included reaching out to the Gentiles. Paul and Barnabas were set apart by the Holy Spirit before heading to Antioch. And at the end of visiting that city they were filled with joy and the The Holy Spirit for they preached to those God fearing men and appointed gentiles and Jews in that community.

This chapter illustrates that God calls those He has predestined or appointed for eternal life, who believe in the message that Paul and others shared with them—specifically, their belief in Jesus as Savior.

I encourage you to preach to everyone, as God has predestined many, though only He knows who these individuals are. When we proclaim the good news, God beautifies the humble and grants them eternal life once they believe.
