Heaven is not the destination you are working toward. It is the reality you received the moment you believed.

This teaching closes out a series of sessions on how believers come into Heaven, and the argument is precise: the tenses of the gospel are not incidental. You are seated. You have passed. You possess. Every verb is present and complete, not future and conditional. The teaching draws a sharp contrast between idolatry, which demands that man work to earn intimacy with God, and Christianity, which declares that God worked to earn intimacy with us. Missing that distinction keeps believers on a treadmill of firsts, giving and sacrificing, when the First was already given so that no more firsts would ever be required. The mystery being handled here is that Heaven is a simultaneous reality. You are in Heaven and Heaven is in you, and that collision is not a metaphor but a present, conforming force shaping you into Heavenly dignity without behavioral effort.
