EP 4 - In this episode, I’m diving into a challenging topic—pain, particularly the kind that comes from relational and emotional wounds. From strained cross-cultural interactions and the isolation of being a minority to personal grief, I explore how God uses these painful experiences to shape our lives and relationships. 

I share some of my own struggles, including my journey in guiding my children’s ethnic and kingdom identities, and talk about how pain can often make us want to pull back from community and even from God.

I unpack the idea that pain has a purpose beyond what we might realize. While the enemy tries to use our pain to disrupt our relationship with God and with each other, God’s plan is to transform our pain to deepen those very same relationships. Through scripture and real-life examples, I look at how God meets us in our suffering, helping us to endure, grow, and heal in ways that bring us closer to Him and into a loving community.
