Generosity has long been an important topic in Christian teaching but the reason why one should be generous may not have received as much attention. One interesting reason for generosity is God’s desire for us to be vested in our beliefs. This idea, which is seen in the construction of both the tabernacle and temple, is one readily seen in being a part of God’s church.
