As Christians we must understand the Christian life, unlike life in the world, is not a competitive event to see who wins at life, but rather it is a dedication of faithfulness to the life we win. I Christ, life is not a competition… It has never been an issue of who knows God better; it is always an issue of faithfulness. God is faithful to us, and all He desires is that we be faithful to him. Christianity is like a marathon. It is hardly ever those who run the fastest that win and it is virtually always those that commit to the long haul who come out winners. We are already winners scripture calls us… ‘More Than Conquerors’, which means we have won even before the battle began. Victory has little to do with ability. Let me encourage you… God has taken the most unlikely candidates over the years and brought about amazing results and throughout biblical history God calls them winners.
