The Bible Doesn't Say that Pt. 3
Matthew 14:22-29
We often move ahead with whatever is in front us. Our efforts usually carry us, but when they aren’t quite good enough, and only then, will we call out to God to fix our mess. What about Peter when he tried to walk on water? If he had just listened to Jesus the raging waters would not have consumed him. That’s not the point of the story though. The point is, Jesus always comes to us when we are sinking.
