A. Israel's response in worship began with confession, climaxed with praise (9:1-6)
B. Israel confessed God’s repeated faithfulness, in contrast to Israel’s repeated evil (9:7-31)
C. Yet they forgot their confessions! (9:32-38)
- Their petition was for earthly glory
- Their hope was the law
- Their plan was their covenant
D. This all points to Christ (Romans 15:4, Gal. 3:12-14)
a. Live for Christ
b. Live in Christ
c. Live with Christ
