Crime Diner

God Is Left Handed

Listen Later

Most violent crimes are senseless, but the one we cover this week is senseless with a bag of chips. Steven Keith Hatch and Glen Burton Ake went on a crime spree that would end in the attempted annihilation of the Douglas family of Okarche, Oklahoma. A plot twist would put an end to that spree and, in the process, change the existing victim’s rights laws.
For dinner, with inspiration from the story Cindy made Salisbury steaks. For dessert, we shared Texas sheet cake cookies, a recipe from Oklahoma food blogger The Pioneer Woman. We washed it all down with Spiked Roy Rogers.
