L-O-V-E. Everyone longs for it, and everyone chases it at some point or another. Love is described as an intense feeling of deep affection. But truthfully, that definition is somewhat vague and incomplete. Love is so much more than that. People think they know love, but a glance at the world shows us just how deeply it’s misunderstood and consequently misapplied. One thing is for sure: true love isn’t just a feeling. Romans 5:8 makes it very clear when it says, “…God shows his love for us in that…Christ died for us.” Real love is rooted in the person of Jesus Christ and put on display for us at the cross. Until someone knows Jesus and his love for them, they’ll never fully grasp what true love really is.

This Sunday, we’re beginning a new message series, titled REAL LOVE. In this 9-message series, we’ll explore various “love passages” across the Scriptures and what we will discover is that Christ’s love, revealed at the cross, changes everything for us; our eternal future and the way we live today.
