We all know that God has saved us. Jesus Christ being our Savior is kind of the whole thing of Christianity, actually. But If you ONLY ever think of God as your Savior, not only are you missing out on an abundance of God's character, but you are setting yourself up for failure.

Deuteronomy six is all about the importance of holding on to your relationship with God even when life is going well. When things are easy, you still need God. Because He is not just a Savior. He's our Father and Friend. Our Provider and Sustainer.
