Yallllll, there's been a big fat lie going around saying that Jesus is mad or disappointed with us because we aren't doing everything right and that we could somehow lose His love and acceptance if we are still struggling with this or that but I'm here to tell you the truth and the truth is He is absolutely not mad at us and He wants us to be real with Him so that He can meet us where we are at every single day, in every single behavior, and every single sin, in every single mood, and we do not have to be ashamed of ourselves or scared of Him or run away from Him because He is a God who cares deeply for us, understands us completely, and knows us fully already. He already knows what your mess up is going to be before you mess up and He still sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins and at this point, in our current lives, we are just walking out this journey with Him everyday, no matter how ugly or beautiful or unrighteous or righteous it looks because here's the truth we can't ever be so good that we could earn His love or be so bad that we could lose His love. This is not excusing or promoting sin but rather trusting the only One who can erase it instead of leaning on our own self proclaimed righteousness to wash us of our sin. Jesus is the only way to the Father.
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, and the new is here!".
