In Philippians 4:1-7, the apostle Paul teaches that God can provide peace to our troubled hearts and minds. He states that the source of this peace is from God Himself and does not rely on the condition of the world around us or our circumstances in it. From this, we learn to surrender mental pressure in prayer to God. We are blessed to discover that no matter what situations we find ourselves in, there is a place of peace and refuge in the presence of God when we have a prayer life.
