This sermon reminds us that God has never been far away. From the very beginning in the Garden of Eden, He walked with Adam and Eve as a close friend. When sin entered the world, people began to feel separated, but God never left. He guided Israel with a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, showing His constant presence. In Jesus Christ, the Word became flesh and lived among us as Immanuel, God with us. After Jesus returned to the Father, the Holy Spirit came to live within every believer. God’s presence is not distant or hidden but personal, real, and constant. We do not have to search endlessly for Him because He is already with us. Our calling is to open our eyes, recognize His presence, and live with confidence that He is near.
