We serve a God that is not self-seeking but instead self-sacrificing. Jesus Christ humbly lowered himself to this dark, sinful and broken world. He shows us what self-sacrificing love looks like not only in giving his life for us but also in how he always had a concern for other's welfare and interest over his own. He paved the way to show us how to walk out self-sacrificing love.
