When we look at the core belief that stands in the very heart of the gospel, it is simply this, It is God who justifies.

It is the refrain of the Pharisees when they mock Jesus for proclaiming the paralytic forgiven. "Only God can forgive sins!" But, God does forgive and it is He who justifies.
