The God of Old (Part 1)
Genesis 1:1-5, 26-31
Sunday, January 12, 2025
The very first act of God in the Bible is creation. God takes the chaotic and disordered void and shapes it into something worthy of being called Good, Beautiful. We then learn that we—humanity—are made in the very image of the Creator. What does it mean to bear the image of the one who shines light into darkness and fills the world with life?
Bryant Anderson preaching.
Current Series: The God of Old
As Christians we believe that the best way to understand the nature of God is to look at Jesus. But that doesn't mean that Jesus is the only way to know God; we learn a lot about God's character and work through the many stories and writings of the Old Testament. This series looks at some of the key attributes that we discover about God long before God is revealed to us in Jesus Christ.
