“If I perish, I perish!”
This is one of the most challenging and freeing messages of all time. What really is the expectation of being a Christ-follower? Esther is a gripping story of God at work behind the scenes. God’s people are dispersed living under the rule of the greatest kingdom until that time. What makes the book so fascinating is that God is never mentioned, there is no reference to worship or faith, heaven or hell, or the prediction of Messiah, yet God is present in every scene, every event and circumstance, working for the good of His people. We will find ourselves in this story and be comforted by the fact that the real God of the Empire is our God, the God of the Universe.
