Sermon – September 21, 2025

Money is a tool—powerful but limited. It can buy the shell of things but never the essence: food but not appetite, medicine but not health, wealth but not peace. Jesus warns us that while we must handle “dishonest wealth” wisely, we cannot serve both God and money. One says, get, get, get; the other says, give, give, give. Drawing from Amos and Luke 16, this sermon challenges us to be faithful stewards, to invest in what lasts for eternity, and to make wealth our servant—not our master.
