God: Our Divine Mother

Listen Later

When Jesus uses metaphors from the animal kingdom, what animal does he use to describe himself? You might think a lion. After all, religions have a long history of associating divinity with the powerful lion. But Jesus compares himself not with a powerful lion who devours his enemies, but with a hen who loves her chicks. Join is for more about Jesus’ transformation of our understanding of God today as we gather for worship!
