Yes, temptations come to us even as believers, thou not brought by God but he allows them so that through them he can reveal the excellency of HIS power in and through us. The glory of God can be revealed through any circumstances. So the way God receives glory through temptations is that through the temptations that come our way as HIS children he is able to use them to work HIS nature and counsels first in us then through us and remember he will not allow you to be tested beyond what you can bear. That means for every temptation you face, you have the ability to come out of them victoriously. 

In God's servant Ravi Zacharia's words "God does not conquer in spite of the dark mystery of evil. He conquers through evil, suffering, and pain, making you the person He intended you to be through that."

1 Cor 10:13 KJV: No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
