Christians worship a creator God who proactively enters into relationship with His created beings – a God who even refers to Himself in the context of his human relationships saying “I am the God of Abraham . . . the God of Isaac . . . and the God of Jacob.” Throughout the Bible, God identifies Himself with people to whom He made – and kept – great promises.
God’s ultimate desire is to love us and care for us. He is lovingly-loyal and loyally-loving. He loves what He is committed to and is committed to what He loves.
1 Peter 5:7 reminds us “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Whatever you’re going through – whether today is an easy day or a difficult what – remember right now and hold on to the truth that God cares deeply for your well-being, is pursuing an intimate relationship with you and is actively working in your life.
God is also seeking a relationship with your friend, your brother, your coworker. Undoubtedly, there are people in your world who do not yet know God personally. Tell them that He loves them deeply and wants them to know Him.
