God rules the furnace: Daniel 3: 1-30
1. The Introduction: Do we believe that God rules the furnace?
1.1 Big Idea: To look at two things from Daniel ch3 vv1-30 to show us what led these three men to suffer for God (1-30)
2. The first thing is: their obedience to God (1-12)
3. The second thing is: their faithfulness to God (13-30)
4. Conclusion: the exhortation: These two things from Daniel ch3 vv1-30 that show us what led these three men to suffer for God – are they seen in our Christian walk (1-30)
Reflection: Do you believe that God rules the furnace? As you suffer for God are you obedient to Him? As you suffer for God are you faithful to Him? (Exod. 20: 3-5; 1 Sam. 15: 22; Job ch1: 1-22; 2: 1-8, 9-10; Isa. 12: 2; 43: 1-3; Dan. 3: 1-30; Matt. 4: 8-10; Mk. 8: 34-38; Jn. 14: 6; Rom. 1: 23; 5: 12; 8: 31-32, 38; Heb. 13: 5-6; Jas. 1: 2; 1 Pet. 2: 19-24)
