Jesus understands how hard it is to live in this world. He knows hardship, suffering, sorrow, and the weight of what it means to be human.
When we are invited to join God and His family, that invitation is not simply about waiting for the day we will be with Him forever. The waiting matters, too. It is often filled with hardship, suffering, and sorrow—just as Jesus’ own life was.
Everything Jesus did was rooted in love. And as we walk through the difficulties of this life with Him, we are slowly becoming more like Him. Day by day, hardship gives us opportunities to grow in patience, compassion, endurance, and, above all, love.
We are on a journey—not simply toward heaven, but toward becoming people who love more like Jesus.
Your Kingdom Come
Sometimes the plans we make don’t work out the way we expected. We may pray, plan, push, and try to make something happen—only to find a door closed in front of us. But what if that closed door isn’t a setback? What if it’s God’s protection, direction, or simply His reminder that He knows what’s best?
We can spend so much time trying to force open doors that God has closed, waiting impatiently for them to open, or wondering why He isn’t giving us what we thought we were supposed to have. But we have another option: we can trust Him. We can stop pushing, listen for His voice, place our hand in His, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us back onto the course He has for us.
God sees what we cannot. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is let go of our plans and let Him be God.
Put your hand on me
Have you ever received a gift that seemed simple at first, but somehow carried a meaning far deeper than you could have imagined?
Sometimes the most meaningful gifts become reminders of people, moments, sacrifice, and the ways God is working behind the scenes.
In this episode, Elizabeth shares the unexpected story behind two very special gifts she received—and how, over time, they became symbols of something much greater.
What started with two rose bushes became part of a story filled with freedom, remembrance, ministry, and God’s perfect timing.
Listen to hear the story behind the roses—and discover why they meant so much more than flowers.
On Earth Till Heaven
What does it really mean to worship God?
For most of our lives, we’re taught to value independence—to make our own decisions, look out for ourselves and those we love, and chart our own path. So the idea of bowing to someone else can seem counter to everything we’ve learned.
But what happens when we begin to understand who God is—and who we are not?
Worship is intricately connected to our relationship with God. As we become more aware of His greatness, His power, and His presence, awe and reverence begin to take their rightful place.
This episode begins to go deeper into the what, how, and why of worship—and what it means to live in response to the God we worship.
We Enter Your Throne Room
What would this world be without God? Nothing would be made, there would be no life—He is the source of it all, continually sustaining His creation.
But what does it mean for God to be present? There is a difference between knowing that He is always present around us and experiencing His presence within us.
What was life like before we were aware of who God was? His transcendence goes beyond what we can fully understand or express, yet He is still near, inviting us to know Him.
What would remain if God wasn’t there?

Fire needs the right conditions and enough fuel to ignite and continue burning. In the same way, fire can represent the mutual love within a relationship—something that must be nurtured to keep burning rather than slowly fading away.
Our relationship with God can be viewed similarly. He does not ask us to do everything ourselves; He simply asks us to bring the fuel—our time, attention, prayer, and willingness. When we give Him what we have, He does the rest, keeping the fire burning within us.

The Bible often uses imagery from the natural world to help us understand spiritual truths, and seeds are one of the most powerful examples. Every seed is different, requiring its own combination of water, temperature, soil, and environment to grow and germinate. In many ways, our spiritual lives are the same. Each of us may require different environments, seasons, and experiences to begin to grow, but there is one thing every seed need: water. Water gives a seed what it needs to break through and begin its growth. In Scripture, water is often connected to the Holy Spirit, reminding us that His presence is essential for nurturing our faith, helping us break through, and allowing us to grow into who God has called us to be.
River
This episode compares the natural season of summer to a spiritual season of growth. While summer can be uncomfortable because of the heat, it is necessary for crops to grow and eventually produce a harvest. In the same way, God may use difficult, intense seasons in our lives to produce spiritual fruit in us. Every season has a purpose, and even when we feel like we are stuck in the “heat,” God may be using that time to grow something that will eventually produce a harvest.
Father, Jesus, Spirit
In this episode, we explore the transformative gift of the Holy Spirit and what it truly means to be born again in Christ. Scripture describes the Holy Spirit as “living water” flowing from God, bringing new life to all who receive Him. Through spiritual rebirth, we become a new creation—not through physical change, but through the renewing work of God within us.

In this episode, we continue exploring the significance of the biblical feasts and how they ultimately point to Jesus. His death perfectly coincided with the Jewish Passover, revealing Him as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
Through His sacrifice, the way was opened for the gift of the Holy Spirit and a restored, personal relationship with God—something that was not possible under the old covenant. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.”
This new life is received through a simple yes to Jesus. Join us as we reflect on how God’s redemptive plan unfolds through the feasts and is fulfilled in Christ from beginning to end.
