Today’s Scripture:

‭‭Hebrews 4:12 KJV‬

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 

The book of Hebrews is a powerful book to read and live out. It encourages believers who were being persecuted and tempted to go back to Judaism to stand Firm in their faith and trust God. Our text emphasizes the power of God's word and his message and that it's alive and active. and how it can discern the deepest thoughts and intents of the heart. 

God's word penetrates into our innermost being, the deepest parts of us. This also means that outward appearance is not serious or enough. God sees the intentions behind the outward appearance, and he judges based on our hearts' posture. What's in your heart?

Family, nothing is hidden from God. The Bible says, “To dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow.” This gives us a picture of how thorough God's word is—he sees it all. His word goes deep. Therefore, today, we must understand that no hidden sin or motive can escape God's notice. 

Remember, God sees your heart. Live so that your heart invites him in every time.
