Anchor Bible text: Psalm 28:7.
When God defends a man, He also does so by vindicating him. Some think that those who wait on God are weak people, however, that is not the case. When you wait for God to speak for you, you are strong, not weak. The strong wait patiently for their vindication. This teaching also aids us to understand that forgiving those who do you wrong is a prerequisite for your vindication by God. In an actual sense, holding in your heart those who do you wrong is choosing to be your defense rather than God.
Praise is an act of prayer. Prayer without the revelation of praises makes prayer a burden, not a pleasure. Burdensome prayers will only earn the person praying frustrations.
