Prayer doesn’t work, God works through prayer. In The Lord’s Prayer recorded in Luke 11, the disciples said to Jesus, “Lord, teach us to pray.” There was something about what the disciples said that prompted a response in Jesus. Not only does Jesus save, He sustains.
