To establish the operation of free will
To separate the sheep from the goats
All for the advancing of His Kingdom here on earth
 
Romans 7:15, 21-23
15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.

1st To establish the operation of free will
Free will was established by God and exercised man in Genesis
-God warned but planted choices in the Garden (eat off of any tree...accepted)
-Adam and Eve WILLFULLY CHOOSE to disobey God and his commands
-Today we have choices
Accept God or not
Walk out his will for our lives or not - Sin or not
God uses Sin.. The act of sin to give man free will to live a life rooted in him or not
