There seems to be a major disconnect many aren't aware of between traditions from the hearts of men and the word of God. These traditions even though rooted in the thoughts and wisdom of men can fail and some times make us loose the rewards of obedience.

Take time to check what God's opinion is on certain matters. Do not take the position of Tradition in Church, Society and Culture. Choose his wisdom and let that be your guiding force. Will the tradition of your forefathers save you in the end? Better yet can it speak for you and love you when you cannot truly love yourself?
