This week we will look at the longest continuous narrative of its kind in the Bible. The Joseph story is filled with clever wordplays and stunning reversals and big reveals. But the foundational message running through it like a silver thread is massively hopeful: God is in control even when it does not look like it. And God is at work even when we cannot see him working. And God is not done, even when we think it is all over for us.
