God Will Break You!
Because He never approved what you were doing in the first place. A lot of things that we have, we did it in our own strength. God didn't bless it, He didn't give us the okay. We took it in our own hands and decided to go forward with it. Without asking Him, was it His will for our lives. So He will break us. To get us in a place, where we cry out to Him, and get his divine direction for our lives.
(James 4:6) Amplified Bible
But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD and HAUGHTY, BUT [continually] GIVES [the gift of] GRACE TO THE HUMBLE [who turn away from self-righteousness].”
The Prayer Of Salvation:
Dear Lord Jesus, I ask for your forgiveness of my sins, known, unknown, thought, deed, and word. I believe You died & rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I accept You as my Lord & Savior.
(Romans 10:13) NIV
Everyone who
calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
(Romans 10:9) NIV
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
(Acts 2: 38-39) NASB
38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
