Outline:

I. Worship is a tool to help us see God.We never fully see God in this life. (4:2-6)

Each aspect of worship gives us a glimpse of God. (5:9, 12-13; 4:8 & Isaiah 6)

II. Worship is God-centered. (4:8, 11)It is about God, not me.

We see our unworthiness. (1:17)
We see God on his throne. (4:1-6; Ps. 47:7-8; 93:1-2; 99:1-3)
We see the world from God's perspective. (4:3)
There is peace at the throne of God!

III. Worship is a natural response to worthiness. (5:1-4; 4:11; 5:9, 12)A response to who God is. (4:8-11)

A response to what God does. (5:1-12)
God sent a Lamb for us. (John 1:29)

IV. Worship is bowing before God. (4:10; 5:8; 5:13-14)In humility. (5:2-4; Isa. 6:3-5)

In adoration. (4:4, 10)
In preparation for service. (5:10; 1:5-6)
In repentance.
