God with Us Brings Love

Listen Later

Today, we will continue with our sermon series on the “Advent” with a focus on “Love.” In 1 John 4:8, we find this bold statement from John: Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

In the midst of our sin, God sent His Son to rescue us. He sent His Son to take our place. He sent His Son to become sin for us and allow us to become His righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21 God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. In the midst of our sin, God sent Love!

As a reminder, the messages in this series will cover how God with us brings: Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace before finishing up with showing how God with us is Jesus. I pray that you will celebrate the real Reason for the season!
