John 16.16-24

Joy in the midst of sorrow is a central theme of Advent. This joy is not fleeting like happiness, but a deep, abiding assurance rooted in God’s presence with us. As we celebrate Advent, we anticipate not only the joy of Christ’s first coming, but the joy of His return, knowing that His presence and joy transcend our circumstances.
