As we study any OT character, we see that all of them are imperfect, flawed individuals; yet God, according to His plan and promises, works through them graciously. One very dysfunctional and broken family God works through is Isaac and Rebekah and their twin sons Jacob and Esau. Despite their many failures and weaknesses, God brings his promises to fulfillment. If God can do that with them, then none of us are too far gone from God working though us.
