Starting in the second half of Romans 1 this week, Jonathan teaches about the link between godliness and thanksgiving. Ungodliness results in an absence of thanks and the presence of murmuring complaining.  But godliness results in thanksgiving - which is the will of God for our lives (I Thessalonians 5:16-18).  But hearing the command BE THANKFUL is not enough.  We know the what but we must now how.  How can we frail sons of Adam give thanks in all circumstances? The same way we received Christ Jesus as Lord -  By Grace, Through Faith.  Finishing with an Old Testament story from Joshua 17, we see that we must rejoice in our lot and commit to clearing it out before we see expansion!
